Today’s U.S. Marshal’s 'Fugitive of the Week' Arrested in Rindge, NH

January 04, 2017 - This week’s “Fugitive of the Week,” Frederick Piercey, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Rindge, New Hampshire. Piercey was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Keene Police Department for a sex offender registration violation for failing to register.

SWIFT Task Force Arrests Two of New Mexico’s Most Wanted

December 28, 2016 - Deputy U.S. Marshals assigned to the U.S. Marshals Service South West Investigative Fugitive Team (SWIFT) Task Force arrested fugitives Damon Hatanaka and Kenneth Alcon. Both fugitives were featured on the U.S. Marshals New Mexico Most Wanted Program.

U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrests York Suspect on Charges of Aggravated Assault

December 28, 2016 - Today, U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced that the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force arrested Victor Garcia in Tampa, FL. On July 5th, 2016, the York City Police Department obtained an arrest warrant charging Garcia with Aggravated Assault, False Imprisonment and Terroristic Threats with Intent to Terrorize another where it is alleged that he stabbed his victim.

U.S. Marshals 'Fugitive of the Week' Program

December 28, 2016 - In 2007, the United States Marshals Service partnered with Peter St. James and the “NH Wake Up Show” to create the “Fugitive of the Week” program for the State of New Hampshire. The success of this program over the years has continued to grow both in the number of arrests and the number of partners spanning all media styles from radio, print, web and television.

U.S. Marshals in Northern Virginia Apprehend Over 275 Felony Fugitives

December 23, 2016 - The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force based within the federal Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria division, took over 275 dangerous fugitives off the streets of Northern Virginia in 2016. The task force also captured numerous fugitives wanted outside of Virginia who attempted to hide out in Northern Virginia.

Local Fugitives Captured in 20 States by U.S. Marshals in 2016

December 23, 2016 - U.S. Marshals captured more than 250 fugitives wanted for violent offenses ranging from murder to sex offenses throughout 2016. Overall, more than 500 outstanding state and federal arrest warrants were cleared this year by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

The United States Marshals Service Adds to the New Mexico’s Most Wanted List

December 22, 2016 - The U.S. Marshals Service is requesting your help in locating federal fugitive Kenneth Alcon. Alcon is wanted on felony arrest warrants for the following charges: Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon (knife), Failure to Comply with Probation, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Task Force Arrests Missing Probationer

December 22, 2016 - The U.S. Marshals Service, Vermont Violent Offender Task Force, arrested a missing probationer, whose whereabouts were unknown since November 2016. Isaac Hunter was arrested in Burlington, Vermont when located by Deputy U.S. Marshals and members of the Task Force.

U.S. Marshals 'Operation Grinch Stopper 2016' Results in 157 Arrests State-Wide

December 16, 2016 - From December 13th-15th, the U.S. Marshals Service in Arizona, along with partnering state, local and federal law enforcement agencies, conducted “Operation Grinch Stopper 2016.” The operation focused on fugitives wanted for outstanding arrest warrants for crimes to include robbery, burglary, theft, larceny and drugs and resulted in the arrest of 157 fugitives statewide.

Accused Child Molester from Ohio Arrested in East Tennessee

December 16, 2016 - Deputy U.S. Marshals and Task Force Officers with the Smoky Mountains Fugitive Task Force located and apprehended Jamie Lee Jones yesterday in Lafollette, TN. Jones was wanted on a 2015, five-count indictment out of Defiance County, Ohio, for Sexual Assault of a Minor Under the Age of 14.
